I’m Josh Mysore, from Dallas, TX. As a proud JCamp ‘19 alumnus and the editor of my yearbook, I’ve set my current goal to encompass creating media for people’s needs. TNJC was established with that goal in mind: to be a source of informative news.
I’m Joshua Yang, a high school senior based in Palo Alto, California, and I run our editorial team. In the past, my work has been recognized by NCTE and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards; my writing has also appeared in The Best Teen Writing of 2020.
I’m Jennifer Xia, a senior from Johns Creek, GA, where I run Northview High School’s newsmagazine, The Messenger as editor-in-chief. I value accurate and thorough reporting along with creative design work to cohesively spread information.
My name is Morgan Chow and I’m a sophomore from Dallas, TX. I’m a staff writer for my school’s paper, the Remarker, and music is my biggest passion. What I appreciate the most is taking time to experiment as much as possible when designing.

I’m Molly Wetsch, a high school senior from Sioux Falls, SD. I serve as editor-in-chief of my school’s online newspaper, the Statesman. I also regularly contribute to siouxfalls.business, a media company that focuses on local economics.
I’m Axel Icazbalceta, a junior from St. Mark’s in Dallas, TX, where I work as one of two 10600/Culture section editors for our newspaper, the ReMarker. Fun facts: my family has a pigeon coop with over two dozen pigeons, and my favorite anime is Death Note!

I love how I can meet new people and share stories through journalism and I am excited to work with high school journalists from across the nation! I’m excited to combine my passions for journalism and social justice with TNJC! In my free time I enjoy collecting houseplants and listening to music, which includes making playlists for almost everyone in my life.

I’m Sonya Rashkovan, a sophomore in Montgomery County, MD. I moved from Ukraine in 7th grade, and got interested in journalism during the Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine, when I saw courageous journalists reporting while bullets were flying in the air. I am really excited to practice writing, reporting and interviewing at TNJC!
